ArbuckleMED Urgent Care couldn’t be easier. You never need to make an appointment. We accept most major insurance plans to get you on the path to feeling better soon.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staffs are here to greet you. Once you arrive, you will be asked to sign-in and to present your insurance card. Co-pay and photo ID is required.
When you are ready to be seen, our nurses will take your vital signs and learn more about the reason for your visit. The nurse may begin diagnostic tests such as X-rays, blood tests or an EKG to prepare for the medical provider. When the provider comes in, he or she will examine you, listen to your concerns and discuss your results, diagnosis and treatment plan.
When you are comfortable with the information the provider has shared, you will be escorted back to the front desk to complete your visit. There you will receive any necessary prescriptions and a record of your visit, if you desire to have one. The provider may indicate that you should follow up with your own primary care provider again within the next day or two to make sure your condition is improving. We will call in your prescription to your pharmacy or one of our local pharmacies for your convenience and we also use Electronic Prescription which allows us to send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. This allows you to pick up your prescription from the pharmacy without having to wait.
Our staff and health care providers are always concerned first and foremost with your well-being and may want a follow up visit to see you again or your own primary care provider. Whether or not your condition requires follow up, our staff may call within a few days to see how you are feeling and to give you a chance to ask questions about your recovery process.
